NEW IN: MICHAEL KORS GREENWICH SATCHEL

Just couldn't resist the urge to share a few things that are making me very happy at the moment! By  a few things I am of course referring to bags, shoes and jewelry, but you already knew that, given my profound accessory obsession:) 

The thing that is not making me very happy at the moment is the weather. Yes, I know, considering that February in California tends to be warmer than pretty much everywhere else, I can hardly complain. And yet, .... here I am complaining:) After freezing in New York, I was kinda hoping LA would greet me with some warmth and sunshine, but instead it's been gloomy, rainy and cold. Essentially, we've been enjoying the kind of weather that in no way signifies that Spring is around the corner and I am oh so very ready for Spring! 

So, in an effort to chase away my February blues, I've been indulging in some serious Spring shopping and I have to say that the results have been most satisfying:)

This year, my Spring shopping started with an item that is always at the top of my Spring/Summer must have list, i.e. the white bag. Aside from color, what attracted me to this MICHAEL by Michael Kors Greenwich satchel is the contrast black interior and of course the shape! I love structured bags, but when they also happen to be a perfect combination of polish and laid back ease, I find them completely irresistible! In fact, I find them so irresistible, I am considering getting another one, since it comes in a few different colors... The only problem is that I can't decide between the raspberry and blue. What do you guys think? Raspberry, blue or both? :)

MARSALA MANIA

Good morning, Everyone! Hope your weekend is going great so far! 

I wanted to say a quick hello a share a few of my recent obsessions in one of my favorite colors. You see, even before Marsala was announced as the official color of 2015, I've always had a soft spot for this rich red-brown. Warm, sophisticated and vibrant, Marsala pairs beautifully with a wide variety of colors, the combination with black and white being among my favorites! Though, lately I am also a bit partial to wearing it with navy or grey. 

The ankle boots I'm wearing in today's post are a recent acquisition but have already become one of my favorite pairs. I can't really decide what I love about them the most... Is it the color or the thicker heel or maybe it's the asymmetrical leather-trimmed topline... Or, what is perhaps most likely, it's all of the above, combined together to create one stunning pair of boots. 

The wool fedora hat I got from Express recently, is another one of my current favorites! I am having a bit of a hat moment lately, and by lately I mean for the past week or so:) You see, I got up one morning and was greeted by gray skies and pouring rain. As I was trying to decide whether to spray the entire bottle of hair spray on my head or just half to keep my curls looking somewhat presentable, a bright idea downed upon me! What if I were to skip hair spay entirely and wear a wide-brimmed hat instead! And so I did! Long story short, hair style remained in tact all day long despite spending considerable time outside in the pouring rain. And so, a hat obsession was born:)

Hey, Everyone! How is our week going so far? I wanted to take this opportunity to share pics of my new favorite pair of sandals ever! And they are flats! Honestly, since I pretty much wear high heels 24/7, I never thought that a pair of flats could make me weak at the knees, yet that's exactly what happened! I went to Intermix looking for a dress to wear in Vegas, and of course couldn't resist checking the shoe section while I was there. And that's where I found them, sitting on the shelf in all their chained and embellished glory. Oh, and once I put them on, that was petty much it! Game over, they simply had to come home with me:) I love, love, love absolutely everything about them, the chain links, the spikes and the crystal embellishments!!! I probably sound a little obsessed, but you know me, I get really excited about shoes:)

GILDED BUTTERFLIES

Good morning and happy weekend, Everyone! I wanted to take this opportunity to share a few new favorites, i. e. the beautiful Thale Blanc Flutter of Hope clutch & Schutz Ezri sandals. As you may know, I am a big believer in details, especially when it comes to accessories. In my opinion, it's the little details that are responsible for turning any accessory into a total statement piece. Case in point, brass butterflies engraved on a plexiglass clutch and gold-banded straps added to a pair of black heels not only make a very dramatic statement but also add a wow factor and make these two pieces absolutely lust-worthy!

PEARLS & FLORALS

Good morning, Everyone! How is your week going so far? Emil and I are spending a few days in Laguna Beach, so I wanted to take this opportunity to share a few of my favorite beach essentials. I got this cute floral tunic & straw bag especially for this trip. Since I am having a bit of a moment when it comes to prints lately, I just couldn't resist this striking floral print. But I think what I love the most about this tunic is the bold black braided trim, especially on the pockets:) 

Since I can never be separated from my #armparty for too long, I think a bit of sparkle is always beach appropriate:) and these gold and pearl bracelets and rings are my absolute favorites at the moment. You know how I love versatility and these pieces pair beautifully with just about everything and easily transition from day to night.

NEW FAVORITES :: IRO ZARIUS BAG & SYDRAE PUMPS

Good morning, Everyone! I wanted to take this opportunity to share a few of my favorite new things. As I have mentioned before, come Spring time, I am always on a look out for certain essential items to complete my wardrobe.
A white bag, a pair of pastel pumps and perfectly slouchy boyfriend jeans in a light wash are always on top of that list because I simply can't imagine my Spring/Summer wardrobe without them. I think of these 3 as fundament of most Spring/Summer looks, which is not surprising I suppose, considering my weakness for pastel pairings:)
