VIVA LAS VEGAS

Hey Everyone! Finally, I get to share a few of my favorites from an amazing Vegas trip Emil and I took a few weeks ago! Even though this was not our first visit to Vegas, everytime we come here we are completely blown away by the whole experience. It's like the town gets bigger and better and brighter all the time... !

As usual we stayed at Wynn, I suppose we are a bit boring this way, but I guess we enjoy the familiarity... Why take a gamble if we already found a place we really love!  Since Emil and I don't really gamble much, we usually spent time lounging by the pool, stuffing out faces at SW Steakhouse or the Terrace Cafe, walk around the strip or go shopping. Shopping of course being the one I enjoy a bit more than Emil does:) But hey, how do you go to Vegas and not go shopping! Ahhh..., completely not possible!!!! 

But I guess one of my biggest guilty pleasures while in Vegas is room service breakfast. I take breakfast very seriously in general, but in Vegas especially, I can sit for hours sipping coffee, munching on croissants and enjoying the view below. Wish I could have breakfast like that everyday ... :) 

 Is it wrong that I am already planning my next visit? :)

SEQUINS & SPOTS: VIVALUXURY FOR JOIE

Hey Everyone! I'm sure by now you all know what a huge Joie fan I am, based on the countless appearances it made on my blog ( see a few posts here, here & here ), which is why I am beyond excited to partner with them to showcase their new denim collection. If you read my blog on regular basis, you know that quality, craftsmanship and fit are extremely important to me, which is what attracted me to Joie in the first place. And I am happy to say that their new denim line is no exception! Made from super soft, thick denim, the "So Real Skinny" jeans have just the right amount of stretch to fit perfectly in all the right places, not to mention the fact they retain their shape throughout the day!

So, no saggy knees or bum, my personal pet peeve:) I also have a weakness for special little details, and cool-looking pockets and zippers in combination with fit and quality, definitely make them one of my favorite pairs of jeans ever!

MIXED MEDIA

I've been obsessively looking for a perfect graphic statement tee for a while now, so when I laid my eyes on this super cute "Cliche" one from Ily Couture, I knew, I finally found it! Perfect for pairing with boyfriend jeans and casual denim cut-offs, today, I wanted to dress it up a bit, and in stead decided to pair it with more tailored pieces. I like pairing casual pieces with dressy ones in general, because I feel like it adds a fun twist and modern feel to an outfit. 

I also find that lately I am a bit obsessed with mixing prints, especially floral and geometric ones. I think the key is to mix prints that have what I call an "anchor" color, black in this instance, and to pair a more neutral print with a lauder, more colorful one. What do you guys think? How do you feel about mixing prints?
