Summer Stripes

I’ve been obsessed with denim jackets lately, this particular one is by Guess. I got it for $15.00 from a thrift store with tags still attached, can you believe it? Somebody actually gave it away brand new!!! Well, their loss is my gainJ

The dress I am wearing is actually a maxi skirt, but I thought once I put a belt on it looked kind of cute. What do you think? Not too obvious? Oh, and I thought that tucking in the bottom gave it a little bit of an edge. I personally like it better tucked in. What about you?

Once again, I apologize for the lion head. When I left the house in the morning I had beautiful poker straight blowout. Half an hour later it puffed up and became completely unmanageable. Does anyone know of a great product to control frizz? I would really appreciate your advice because I am losing this warJ

First Day of Summer…

Ah, today I finally feel like summer is here. The weather is great and the sun is shining! Life is greatJ

 I recently found a great little store on Melrose Ave in LA. The top and skirt cost me under $40.00, don’t you just love a great bargain? As soon as I saw this skirt I knew I had to have it! High-waisted mini in a great print and of course I think the print is absolutely amazing!

But I think the highlight of my week is finding a great on-line handbag store! If you follow my blog you know I love a great bag! Retro Red

It took me a month to find this dress in my size. I saw it online and fell in love with the beautiful color and a slight retro influence. When I finally got it, I was jumping with joy like a mad woman! On this occasion I wore it to my friend’s bachelorette party but it actually works for every day with a chunkier heel and a casual bag. The bag is somewhat mismatched, I knowJ . I had a very cute oversized clutch, which I left at home when I was rushing to get ready. 

On another subject, life in LA is funny sometimes. I was getting a manicure when I turned around and saw Mila Kunis sitting on a chair next to mine. She is so pretty in person, very friendly and sweet. I don’t like to bother people during their time of, so I simply smiled and she smiled back. After I got my nails done I went to a nearby store to get some water and ran into Miley Cyrus pushing a big shopping cart full of groceries. She was desperately trying to stay under the radar but with little luck, I think. Other shoppers and even store personal were quietly whispering, while trying to get a better look. She looked so very young, in her flowy top, clean face and a long braid.

Pasadena Roses...

On Saturday, Emil and I took a trip to a beautiful town of Pasadena and came across a gorgeous Rose garden. It was completely empty and we took our time walking around and later on had a cup of tea in a gazebo. As we sat in the garden we talked about how little, simple things make us happy and bring peace to our hearts.  A lovely, sunny day, enjoying a conversation with a friend, drinking mint tea surrounded by roses in every imaginable color. Our lives get so hectic; places to go, things to do. Sometimes it’s nice to sit back and see how beautiful life really isJ

Sunny Day in Hollywood

I wanted to apologize for lack of blogging for the past week, life just got a little crazy but I am back now!

So, I am completely in love with Forever 21, where else can you find great items for under $20.00. This dress was $12.00, can you believe it? I was initially attracted to the pattern, sort of tribal and geometric at the same time but once I put it on, the shape, fit and fabric won me over! A great deal is always fabulousJ

The jacket caught my eye because of the fun mustard color and a slight military influence. I have to say that a great jacket is probably my favorite staple. Especially in LA, unpredictable weather, hot during the day, cool at night, makes a great little piece like this an absolutely necessity.

And of course I Love, Love, Love this Rebecca Minkoff bag, later on Emil and I went to a great little bar in Santa Monica, I took the chain off and had a fabulous clutch for the rest of the night. My darling little fashion chameleon, I can’t get enough of youJ

Hello darlings,
