NOT SO SUBTLE STRIPES

I've always been one of those people who wear things they like to the point of obsession. Case in point, hats! At some point, having realized full benefits of wearing hats, I've developed a massive hat addiction. All of a sudden, bad hair days are but a distant memory, no outfit seems complete without it and my late-night online shopping inevitably leads to browsing accessory sections, looking for more hats in all imaginable and unimaginable colors. 

Of course like all my obsessions, bright colors or preoccupation with black for example, this too will pass. But for now, I remain completely and utterly addicted to wearing hats... Hope you can bear with me while I get it out of my system!:)

VARSITY BLUES

Good morning, Everyone! How is your weekend going so far? 

Emil and I have been fighting over this Sandro jacket ever since he got it a few weeks ago. Though normally, he is completely fine with me raiding his closet from time to time, this jacket just happens to be one of his favorites and he wears it non stop. Well... after weeks of nagging and begging, I was finally allowed to borrow it for a day! Of course, my long term plan is to make it a permanent part of my closet, but a day is a start:) 

Why so obsessed you may ask? Well, aside from the fact that I love the combination of leather and wool in general, this one just happens to be a perfect example of that oversized slouchiness I so admire in varsity jackets:) Though I tried to achieve the same look by trying on bigger sizes in a few women's styles, they never looked quite right. Instead of slouchy, they just looked plain big:) Basically not cute at all! 

So, now that I found exactly what I was looking for, hanging in Emil's closet nonetheless, I sincerely hope my long term plan works! Or at least maybe we can share on more regular basis:)!

ALL ABOUT OVERALLS

Good morning, Everyone! Hope your week is going great! I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few pics of my newest obsession, well, ... more like new and old obsessions, because my love affair with these Armani metallic heels is still in full swing:) But I digress, you see, for the past few months, I've been searching for a pair of denim overalls. Not particularly fond of super fitted styles, I wanted to find something perfectly slouchy, preferably in distressed denim.

Now, that I finally found the pair I've been looking for, we've been completely inseparable. I just can't help it, they are so comfy and look great with just about anything, from heels and embellished tops to flats and cropped sweaters! Have a feeling, you'll been seeing them quite a bit on this blog:)
