SANTA MONICA

Good morning and happy almost weekend, Everyone! Whenever I get restless ( and with Fashion Week approaching fast, I've been getting restless quite a bit lately ), feel tired, uninspired or under the weather, Emil and I head straight to Santa Monica, get a cup of tea or coffee and just sit on the beach staring at the ocean. You know, they say there are three things you can look at forever, burning fire, water and starry sky... Well, staring at the ever-changing Pacific ocean tends to do the trick for me. A few hours at the beach, and I feel like a new person! Bight-eyed, bushy-tailed and ready for action! :)

Good morning and happy Monday, Everyone! Hope you all had an amazing weekend! Emil and I took full advantage of the unseasonably worm weather we're enjoying in LA, and spent the day walking around Melrose avenue, doing a little shopping and catching up with our friends. Funny thing, is that I actually got this dress to wear to a big Holiday bash we have coming up in December, but of course when it comes to cute, new dresses I am very weak and simply can't put off wearing them for too long! So, I guess I'll be doing more Holiday dress shopping! Not that I mind very much at all:) In fact, lately it's been all about dresses for me. Mini or maxi, relaxed or fitted, I love how incredibly versatile dresses are!
And of course, as with everything else in my wardrobe, when it comes to dresses, I definitely tend to gravitate towards bright colors, bold or graphic prints, and color blocking. Case in point, today's black & white perfection of a dress! I love absolutely everything about it, the fit, the shape and of course the graphic black and white color blocking. It could have been styled in a million different ways, but I wanted to keep this look strictly about black and white, and added just a touch of color with a pair of green mirrored sunnies. Guess I can't stay away from color completely:)
