A SUMMER SUIT

Have you ever had a feeling like something was meant just for you? Well, that's exactly how I felt when this suit from Via Delle Perle came into my life. I mean, come on! It's cobalt, it's a suit and it's a suit with shorts. So far, three out of three! But it doesn't stop there! You see, lately I've developed a soft spot for something I like to call midi shorts. Midi shorts are definitely longer than Coachella-style barely there mini shorts but not quite as long as Culottes. Basically a happy medium and a perfect option for pretty much any occasion! Having realized the full potential of midi shorts, I suddenly felt a void since none yet found their way into my closet! To fill the void, the scoured the web in hopes of finding a perfect pair, but instead found a perfect suit! Honestly, I wish all of my searches were this fruitful!

Wanted to say a quick hello before I leave for Miami Swim Week! I am so excited, I can hardly wait! Smack in the middle of packing right now, I am trying to figure out how to fit all the shoes I simply must have with me, in what seems to be the tiniest suitcase:) I definitely tend to bring way more stuff than I need, guess 10 pairs of shoes for 5 days may be a bit of an overkill, huh? :) Gotta work on packing lighter at some point... Or not :)

Emil and I were running errands all day and I knew I was going to be on me feet a lot, so I decided to wear flats for a change. Not really much of a sacrifice, considering how cute these glitter slippers are. You know me, I like sparkly things! I don't know why, really, but they always cheer me up:) And since the weather has been so sad lately, I felt like I could definitely use some cheering up. 

I don't normally complain about the weather, but I am really not a big fan of those gloomy, rainy and cold days. Who is, right? Well, apparently Emil is a huge fan. While I was complaining about lack of sun, he informed me that this is his favorite type of weather. Go figure, huh? Suppose frizzy hair and running mascara are not really much of a concern for him. Guess we are all different after all... Cause I would trade this for a warm sunny day in a heartbeat! Who's with me? :)
