BLUSH N' BLACK

Good morning and happy Wednesday, Everyone! Hope your week is going great so far. Emil and I had a bunch of meetings and errands to run in downtown LA yesterday, so I wanted to be comfortable, yet look pulled-together. Naturally, I opted to wear my uniform, i.e. a blazer, a cool-looking tote and a pair of heels. If you read my blog on regular basis, you know, I love my blazers and this blush-colored boyfriend blazer is definitely one of my favorites! Aside from the pretty color, I just love the way it fits! I think, the combination of tailored silhouette, longer length and the slightly oversized fit, gives this blazer a relaxed yet polished look. I also love how versatile it is, seriously, it works with just about anything from jeans to dresses!
For this look, I chose to pair it with a structured peplum top and a pair of coated skinny jeans. And to break up the black and blush color palette a bit, I added a BCBG color-blocked tote. A big fan of bigger bags in general, simply because I like to carry everything with me, naturally I love how roomy it is, but it is of course the combination of textures and colors that makes this bag my all-time favorite!

DOWNTOWN GIRL

Good morning, Everyone! Hope your week is going great, so far! As you can see, I am back in my favorite color. I guess, I can' stay away from blue for too long:) Now that we are finally experiencing coat weather in LA, it's been all about cozy and comfy separates for me. Like this wonderful coat { previously seen here }, which happens to be one of my favorites and not just because of the color:)

Sure, I love the soft grayish blue, but I also love the length and fit, as well as the double breasted button fastening in contrasting color. So cozy, yet chic at the same time! How about you guys, what do you look for in a perfect coat?
