THE COLOR OF CAPRI

I've spent the past few weeks indulging my inner shoeaholic looking for perfect heels to update my Summer shoe wardrobe and as soon as I spotted the gorgeous strappy pair from M.Gemi I am wearing in today's post, I knew it was a match made in shoe heaven!

Firstly, I love bright Summer sandals! I especially love to pair them with black, white or even both! Aside from the fact that adding a pop of color to a black and white outfit adds a dramatic focal point, it really elevates the whole look to another level.

Secondly, the combination of the sexy silhouette, buttery leather and sporty elastic straps is pure genius because it makes these sandals much more versatile. Obviously they go perfectly with dressy or tailored pieces, but I can also see them paired with skinny or boyfriend jeans and a simple tee all thanks to those slightly sporty straps.

Lastly, let's be honest, a comfortable pair of high heels is really hard to find. Though, I have to admit, I've sacrificed comfort for beauty in the past, it feels pretty good to find a pair of heels I can actually walk in. And I can tell you in all honesty, these babies are pretty darn comfortable! I've worn them all day long and at the end of the day my feet were still intact ( no blisters or blue toes like usual ).

I can probably go on and on listing all the reasons why I love these so much, like the fact that they are handcrafted in Italy and the quality for the price is amazing, but I'm afraid I would run out of space on this blog:) You know me, I get very excited about shoes and these ones are definitely my new obsession:)! In fact, I am actually considering getting them in black as well:)

Good morning, Everyone! I hope you had a lovely weekend! As you can see I am back to my uniform, i.e. jeans, blazer and heels. A huge fan of jeans in general, come Spring time, all I want to wear is light, destroyed denim and these high rise skinnies are my latest find. Soft and comfy, I think my favorite thing about them is the color because this elusive shade of blue is so hard to find. I call it a happy medium, a shade that packs enough color to pair with my favorite pastel color palette yet has a visibly faded effect.
Another reason why I like them so much is because they are the brightest example of a super versatile item I'm always gushing about. Though I dressed them up a bit today since Emil and I were going out for dinner, I think they would look just as great paired with a casual off-the shoulder top and strappy flats. What do you guys think? How would you wear them?

LIVE IN LAVENDER - SCHUTZ SLATE SANDALS & CHANEL BOY BAG

Good morning, Everyone! Hope you enjoyed your weekend. I can't really figure out what's been happening with LA weather lately, seems like it's blazing hot one day and freezing cold the next. Cold and windy, that is... And not the good kind of windy either, but the kind of windy that makes you engage in epic battles with your hair in an attempt to prevent it from looking like a bird's nest! And my baby hair, which is not at all a complement, but rather the term my hair dresser uses to describe my super fine, completely unruly hair that refuses to behave even after a few coats of super strong hair spray, has been misbehaving majorly lately.
Which brings me to my question, I have tried a few hair sprays and none of them seem to keep my hair in place. Have you guys found a hair spray that really works? Really appreciate your advice on this one!
